This week general updates

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to provide any updates last week reason being I took a trip to Texas and I was preparaing for an interview. Good new though, I was able to get the job and I am so excitied to start at the company. I know CHDR has been having a lot of meetings recently, so sometimes it feels like there hasnt been a good time to go and work in that area. It's been a pretty hectic month just as spring break is rolling around. I am so ready for this next week to start my adventure on Pokopia.

Internship updates

I've mainly been doing metadata entry from my home because it has been easier to work on while I have other commitments such as work or interviews on the side. This week Nate texted the group chat that we had actually ran out of space on teams to upload more files, but I think Dr. Shier was able to fix it for us. I'm very happy with your comments on the midterm review and I am so glad I was able to join and help out the team more on the tech side. I've tried to do some object storage containers for the cloud, but it's proving to be difficult in terms of wehre to start. I still have yet to figure out what would or how to get those key word identifiers from the scans; however, I was able to go through the links that Erica sent me and I really liked how the digitized papers are accesses through the library. Probably the next step for me is to continue the metadata entries as well as snooping around the links more to see how it was done exactly so I could have a frame of reference.
